Let's make a book together! Musician and children's author Jim Gill brings communities together with his exciting new project! See full description for details on how to participate.
As part of our Family Read Month celebration, acclaimed children’s author, musician and speaker Jim Gill brings his “May there always be…” project to Three Rivers. Children of all ages in the community are invited to create a drawing of what they would like there to “always be”. Then, Jim will work his magic and make a custom video book and musical performance featuring all of their wishes and art!
To get started, watch our introduction video here! Then, visit our Family Read Month event page here!
Submit your pages to the library between October 26th to November 16th. Please read the directions posted on the Family Read Month event page. Go to the provided link there (starting OCT 26th) and follow the prompts to upload your image. If needed, you can also visit the library for assistance scanning your child's page.
Once completed, the video book and Jim’s musical performance will be available on the library's website and social media by November 30th.
If you have questions, or need assistance submitting a child's page, please contact us ys@trpld.org or 815-467-6200 ext.308.
