Join us to learn about the unique ecosystems and habitats along the Illinois River, some of which occur nowhere else on Earth! The historic vegetation of the river bluffs will be discussed by a Peoria Parks naturalist, along with the geologic processes that formed the region, and a few key species that call the area home. Participants will also learn how land managers are restoring the ecological health of the bluffs. Registration Required.
Registration required for EACH person attending. Kids under the age of 10 are not permitted in adult programs.
