Notary Services
The library offers free notary services by appointment only; we are unable to take walk-ins or same day appointments. To request an appointment, fill out the form below, or call the Channahon Library at 815-467-6200 or the Minooka Branch at 815-467-1600. You will be contacted within 1-3 business days to set up an appointment.
- Signers must bring a non-expired government-issued photo ID
- All persons signing must be present at the time of notary services
- Signers must bring any required witnesses
- Documents must not be signed prior to arrival; the notary must witness all signatures that require notarization.
Notary service is not available for the following documents:
- Deeds
- Wills, living wills, trusts
- Real estate transactions
- I-9 forms
- Certifying copies
