Sharon Hoogstraten will present more information about her series of Potawatomi portraits in regalia, with stories of the interwoven traditional and contemporary culture of today.

Three Rivers is collaborating with the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center for an in-depth look at the temporary exhibit Dancing for Our Tribe. Join photographer Sharon Hoogstraten as she presents her series of Potawatomi portraits in regalia with stories of the interwoven traditional and contemporary culture of today. This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. Four Rivers is an accessible facility.

About the library

Opened in 1981, the Channahon Library contains collections for adults, children, and teens; access to public computers, fax, and scanning; and a teen room.  It serves as the administrative headquarters of the library district.
