Urban Foraging returns! Join Chicagoland’s only full time professional urban forager, Dave Odd, for an engaging walking tour through our Minooka neighborhood. Whether you're new to foraging or looking to expand your knowledge, this program offers a fun opportunity to connect with nature and gain appreciation for local edible plants. Dave has done a TEDx Talk, and been featured byThe Discovery Channel, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, Saturday Evening Post, WTTW, and more. Meet at the Minooka Branch at 10am before heading out into the neighborhood. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

The former Minooka Masonic Hall re-opened as the Minooka Branch of the Three Rivers Public Library District in 1992.
The library contains collections for adults, children, and teens; access to public computers, fax, and scanning; and a public meeting room.
