The program blends a discussion of American history with a wonderful selection of American music. Presented by Kathryn and John Atwood, the History Singers! At Heritage Woods of Minooka.

The program blends an accessible discussion of American history with a wonderful selection of American music. Included are Pilgrim psalms, Native American flute music, Revolutionary War fife music, pioneer songs, Civil War music, 19th-century parlor songs, and cowboy songs. Presented by Kathryn and John Atwood, the History Singers!

About the library

Opened in 1981, the Channahon Library contains collections for adults, children, and teens; access to public computers, fax, and scanning; and a teen room.  It serves as the administrative headquarters of the library district.
