Field Musuem Bus Trip

Embark on an epic journey with us to the Field Museum! Registration, $20 fee and waiver are required for each person. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee includes bus, general admission & entry to the special exhibit, After the Age of Dinosaurs. 

WAITLIST: If you are waitlisted, you do not need to pay the fee or sign a waiver. If space becomes available, the library will contact you, at which time payment and waivers will need to be submitted to complete registration. Registration closes September 5. 

To register:

1) Register each person attending (only put 1 name per online form). You can also register by visiting either our Channahon or Minooka location. 

2) Purchase your tickets ($20 per person) after registering. If registering online, go to bit.ly/trpldfield26 to pay. If registering in person, pay at the register. Payment is due at time of registration.

3) Sign a Minors under 18yrs waiver and/or Adult ages 18+ waiver. Either download waivers or visit either library to get paper copies. Parents/legal guardians must sign for minors. Waivers must be turned in before the trip to the library or emailed to info@trpld.org.

Before the trip: 

• Attendees are encouraged to visit the Field Museum website for information on food, lockers, prohibited items, etc. before the trip. 
• CANCELLATIONS: Cancel before 6pm on Friday, September 4th for a full refund. Cancellations after this deadline will only be issued a refund if the library is able to fill the seat. REGISTRATIONS MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two business days of the trip, or if you do not arrive on time to board the bus. 

Day of the trip:

• Check-in at the Channahon Library between 8:10-8:25am. Bus leaves promptly at 8:30am. 
• Lunch will not be provided. If you bring your own lunch or snacks, please avoid food and drink containing dyes that may stain. All drinks must be in closed containers. NO ALOCHOL ALLOWED.     
• The bus will leave the Field Museum to return to Channahon at approx. 3:15pm. Attendees are responsible for making sure they are on the bus when we depart. Instructions on where to meet the bus will be provided the day of the trip. Any attendees not on the bus when we leave will need to find other means of return transportation at their own expense.
